  • Are you 18 to 39 years old?
  • Have you been told that you have high blood pressure?
  • Do you have difficulty lowering your blood pressure?

What is MyHEART?

MyHEART is a high blood pressure research program that is studying how to help young adults lower their blood pressure.

What do I need to do in this study?

We will ask everyone to participate in 6 research visits over 1 year to measure blood pressure, weight, and height, and complete surveys.

Some participants will be asked to check their blood pressure at home and talk with a health coach by phone. 

NO BLOOD DRAWS!

Will I be paid during this study?

You will be paid the day of each study visit. You will receive a total of $170 if you come to all of the visits.

Tips for Getting Started…

Where will the study take place?

The research visits will be at UW Hospital & Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin and at the Aurora Outpatient Health Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

What if I change my mind?

You can stop participating in this research program at any time.
